About the expenditure budget
The Expenditure Budget and the Budget Speech (110 Ko) are two distinct operations. Prepared by the Ministère des Finances, the Budget Speech proposes the overall expenditure level of the government, determines investments and announces income tax policies. On the other hand, the Expenditure Budget, prepared by the Secrétariat du Conseil du trésor, proposes appropriations (estimates) for the departments and agencies to realize their activities and investments for the coming fiscal year.
